The last Craig film Spectre is now 4K/Dolby Vision on iTunes.
Just checked and indeed it is. Hopefully future HDR upgrades will happen also as they’re released on physical disk. - edit. Casino Royale is still HD.
Not on my system. It's in 4K/Dolby Vision.
Weird. Just rebooted my Apple TV 4K and still says HD here in the UK.
No, I'm in the States.
Casino Royale has different rightsholders in the U.K. vs US. Could be that.
I can confirm all the Daniel Craig Bond Films are now in 4K Dolby Vision in the UK. Just in time to coincide with the bond iTunes sale funny enough.
Vudu has the ultimate collection for $99. I've been hoping to buy a code for about $35 but I may have to give in here.
Don’t you want 4K, Sam? Only the Craig titles are 4K at Vudu. All the Bond films are 4K at iTunes.
Plus they are not MA compatible.
Plus iTunes will probably update the older films to 4K HDR as they’re released also.
There’s no way I’m spending $99 at Vudu when the movies would be stuck there due to lack of MA and with Vudu’s future being so uncertain...
Vudu had the set up for 9.99 for about 10 minutes the other night.
Yeah next time that happens I need someone to call me =)
Craig singles are on the way. Available for preorder on amazon Uk.
no time for an update on the others, fox and mgm???
Yeah, that's not great. Suggests that none of the others will be released to tie in to the new film.
no time to die will be out in July. Maybe then the others will come out.
no time to wait!!
I hope I'm not repeating old news.
This isn't about the iTunes versions but The Bit has posted that the 1st 4 Daniel Craig Bonds with be released in UHD to coincide with the new film in late Feb.
I'll wait to see the specs about those.
The boxset has been released since last October. I can get it for $44 from Amazon.
I bought it in hopes the others would be out this spring.
Maybe they will come in July now.....
