    Hi --
I noticed that Jacob's Ladder is an under $10 title. Has anyone seen/heard this disc? Comment on quality? Is there a new edition coming out that this is so cheap?
    Thanks.

Man I can't believe this disc is $10!
    It's anamorphic 1:85.1 with 5.1 sound.
    The movie is awesome, horror/drama.
The DVD has great contents, deleted scenes, etc.

    Transfer is...good in my opinion.
    It's no Highlander. [IMG]
I don't see no re-release for this one, but I could be wrong. Transfer is acceptable in my home theater.

This is one incredible disc of an awesome movie: for $10 I'd say it's one of the best deals I've heard of in a long time. You can check out a full disc review I did

Had the disc a long time before I watched it on my Mits 55 Widescreen... was dreading the quality.
Boy was I surprised. It's quite good! In fact, very little distracted me, when considering the budget of the movie and the age, plus the fact it's so intentionally dark most of the time.
    Excellent deal for $10.

In a wonderful marketing move by Artisan [IMG] none of the SE content is listed on the back of the box. It has deleted scenes, directors commentary, and a documentary. However, you'll not find them mentioned on the back of the box?!?
    A bargain for $9.96.
    Cheers.

'Jacob's Ladder' is an astonishing film and the disc is very good as well. Both underrated in my opinion. If you see it for $10.00 pick it up immediately.
Adrian Lyne's new film 'Unfaithful' hits next year and apparently it is his best yet! Can't wait!

I saw Jacob's Ladder for $9.90 shipped at Deep Discount DVD. I never usually like any titles in the budget category (don't you hate that!) but I loved Jacob's Ladder...

just picked this up for 10 bucks, nevermind it being a great movie, the documentary and deleted scenes are worth the price alone. [IMG]

This is one of the few films in which the deleted scenes are absolutely essential to appreciate the story as a whole. And the rest of DVD -- particularly for Artisan, who treat most of their old catalog titles like redheaded stepchildren -- is solid as well.
