Also just announced by Buena Vista are street dates for two Quentin Tarantino postmodern classics, a new two-disc special edition of the Academy Award-winning Pulp Fiction, and making its first appearance on DVD, a two-disc Jackie Brown. Street date is 8/20 and retail $29.95 each.

I just read this over at DVDFile.com and yelled "YES!!! FINALLY!!!" :)
It seems a very long wait is finally over.
I just hope Tarantino provided his long-promised commentary for Pulp Fiction...

The best release news i've heard in a very long time.:D :D
Especially the Pulp Fiction SE it seems like the DVD has been on my want-list forever. I wasn't expecting either until the end of the year. Also totally awesome artwork too i must say. Any info about the bonus material?

It's about $&*&&#@! time! Two definite buys for me assuming they come out. However, I am fully expecting these to be delayed, probably around the same time The Simpsons Season 2 set gets delayed for the 28th time. Sorry, but when the last 3 titles you want ALL get delayed or cancelled within a ten day period, you get VERY cynical.:)
Please let this date be true!

This is great news, it seems like I had been holding off forever because of the impending Special Editions for these films. However, I thought that they were going to do Resevoir Dogs as some sort of trilogy thing??
I love the covers for both of these films, and I can't wait to hear the specs for it. Wonder if any of the actor's would be doing the commentary for either??

Yeah, now they release Jackie Brown, now that I finally broke down and got a Multi region player and a disc of it from Europe they finally figure it is time. :frowning:
Well I guess I will be rebuying Jackie Brown in R1.
As for Pulp Fiction I have the DTS Laser and this looks like the first version on DVD that could convince me to buy it.

It's about damn time! I can finally retire my Canadian version of Pulp Fiction. I also love the covers for both DVDs, very classy.

Absoultely Fantastic! And to think on Friday I was about to order the Korean version of Pulp Fiction, becuase I was sick of waiting.

The packaging looks fantastic. I can't wait to see the actual specs. Very, very excited about these disks.

Wahoo! I'm so totally getting both of these!

Now we just need the Resevoir Dogs S.E, and we're set for awhile.
