Amazon as well as other e-tailers are listing this as a box-set, somehow I just doubt that's the case, though it would be excellent...

Can anyone confirm for me whether these three discs (The Hobbit / LOTR / Return Of The King) - animated versions - are packaged together in an actual box-set as indicated at Amazon, Video Universe, etc. or whether they are just being promoted and sold as such, sort of like the Austin Powers discs??

It's just a 3-pack, not an actual box set. The only thing binding them together is some shrink wrap and maybe a paper band.

Well, when you order, you can always keep the box they arrive in and call it a boxed-set.
