    Hey guys,

I need your help. My father in law is looking for a new television. He currently has an old 36" Mitsubishi tube television. Well, it's shot. He's got $2000 to spend and wants a television in the 40"+ range. He's not to hip on the widescreen sets (although if there is one killer set out there I'll sure as hell recommend it to him!). So, if there is a 4:3 HD Ready TV that can do 16x9 squeeze I'm all ears.

    Thanks!

    Chris

    Thanks Vic.

I'll definitely take a look at that Tosh.

I see 121 views, and I only get one reply? Huh.

    Anyone else?

    Sony KP-51HW40

I bought one of these about 3 weeks ago and absolutely love it.

If you are a "tweaker" go for the Toshiba...but if you want an amazing looking TV right out of the box...go for the Sony.

Check out the dedicated Sony Forum over at HomeTheaterSpot.com, they really helped me get a great price on the set.
