The Jessie Matthews films are a lot of fun. In fact, just this past week I was watching "Gangway" (1937), the one where she's a reporter who accidentally gets stranded on an ocean liner and has to pose as a master jewel thief, and gets mixed up with American gangster Nat Pendleton. Bright, funny film, as are just about all of the 1930s Matthews comedy-musicals.

But "It's Love Again" (1936) isn't a PD item, is it? I certainly never heard of it being so. What kind of source elements does Film Masters have? Is it part of some deal they made? On top of their announcement of (a rather unneeded) "Jack and the Beanstalk," I'm increasingly confused by Film Masters and their doings. I'd like to upgrade and get this "It's Love Again" release, but I think I might want to wait and read some reviews on the print quality first.

I have high hopes for this. I'm pretty sure that there have been other PD releases of It's Love Again 9at least in the U.S. I'm just happy to finally see Jessie Matthews films on Blu-ray and this is one of her best!

I think "It's Love Again" might be in Public Domain in the US because Film Detective has it on their youtube channel. I could be wrong but I think they are usually pretty good about only releasing titles in Public Domain.
