This is one of the all-time great websites, and a must see during the Easter weekend. And if you haven't seen it yet, you're in for a treat [IMG]

I received a box of yellow Peeps about ten years ago from a colleague and kept it on my desk for more than five years before finally eating the contents.
The Peeps were just as good after five years as the date they were made. Amazing. [IMG]

I LOVE these..have for years!! They used to make all kinds of marshmallow things...

    Pumpkins

    Turkeys

    Hot Dogs

    Cigars

    ALL sugar and sweet stuff!

There IS a different brand that I have not seen for a few years..last time was 5 years ago at Ames...wish I knew the name. I'd look'em up on the web.

BTW..these ALWAYS taste best after the box has been open a few days!!!!!!

[IMG] You guys crack me up. I sent the link to a friend; she replied saying her husband likes them hard and crunchy. So she leaves the package open for a few days before giving the peeps to him.
I don't care for peeps much anymore (I'm a chocolate guy), but I'm always interested in good marshmellow research [IMG] My favorite section is probably on smoking peeps:

    I loved the peep surgery.
A confession: I've never eaten a peep. They look rather scary and after hearing about how you can eat 'em after 5 years storage in a desk, I'm more convinced than ever that they are really a biological weapon devised by some fiendish aliens. Just wait, those peeps you eat will eventually turn you into a willing food product yourself! But I've got a tinfoil hat, so I'm safe [IMG]
    Now Cadbury Creme Eggs....ah, bliss.
