I know this has discussed before (I even think I started a thread about it a while back) but the Search function is adamant that no one has ever discussed Schindler's List on this forum. Ever. [IMG]

So, it's the 10th anniversary of the theatrical release. Wasn't the DVD supposed to already be finished? 2003 is almost over, and still no word on a release date.

Well, it looks like it's not going to happen in 2003.

It should be coming in 2004 as a Collector's Edition with extra's and DTS sound.
It was on the list for 2003 but it was cancelled for now Indiana Jones Trilogy is coming out.

I believe The Digital Bits' Rumor Mill recently gave a February, 2004 release date for this highly anticipated title.

Universal is now the bottom-of-the-barrel (well, above Artisan, Madacy, etc. to be fair) as far as DVD product is concerned. Hope they're proud. They are what Warner Bros. used to be before they (evidently) had a turnover in personnel and began releasing much more catalog product. Universal's sale to NBC could mean the whole DVD things goes either way - they'll either vastly improve or sink further into the abyss, at which point Artisan might actually overtake them.
