Just read the sad news about the recent passing of Italian actress Monica Vitti at age 90. She was very beautiful and a great actress appearing in films like The Eclipse, L'Avventura, The Red Desert and Modesty Blaise. Rest in Peace.

When I heard news of her passing a few days ago, I re-watched L'avventura in her honor. A great film and a great performance from a great beauty.
Her last years were marred by dementia. A sad ending. She deserves her rest.
