I watched the U. K. Blu-ray disc of this a few days ago. It's a good film with a very strong central performance from Googie Withers.

If you like that UK Blu Ray you might like the recent BFI UK Combo release of A Kid for Two Farthings(1950 color) plus a number of shorts, a thick booklet but no Trailer. I( have it this week and watched. To me as good as I saw in on TV in black and white probably in the 1960s. Lots of wellknown names in bit parts.
