I am running some monster 14/2 cl3 THX speaker wire for my left surround in the ceiling & wall of my basement. I will have to cross about 4 electricaal wires at a 90 degrees and parralell for a few feet.

The question is if I run the wire in a 1/2" pvc(schedule 40) will this take care of any interferance? Is this a waste of time or is there something better?

I do not need to run anything larger as there is no need to run wire throught this pipe in the future.

    Thank You,
    Domonic A.

PVC won't help so I wouldn't worry about it.
Try and cross them at 90 degrees and don't run them parallel. Try and keep 6 inches or so between them if running parallel.
When I have to cross wires, I ususally use a block of 2x4 just to keep them from sitting directly on each other.
It's probably not going to be an issue, but you certainly wouldn't want to find out that it is after sheetrock is up.
