Awesome. I only had this on VHS release. Almost forgot about this one but always liked it. Don't think it got a US DVD release. I Kinda wish Universal was releasing it though instead of Shout since then it would be available for around $9.99 but at least its coming.

I assume Shout is getting this from Universal. If so, Universal's elements look a lot better than those used for the Region B disc. There's reason to hope.......

That's great news! I'll still maintain a wait-and-see attitude about this though. No preorder for me, especially at Shout's price point.

Just a heads-up to anyone thinking about purchasing this release - if the screenshots over at DVD Beaver are any indication, it looks like it's a big improvement over the region-free UK release:

I'm really looking forward to revisiting this film, because the previous Blu-ray was, shall we say, less than great. ;) The new Shout! release is currently available from Amazon for $18.

I have the Region B release too but will go with a wait and see attitude.

Regards,
The UK release is poor and taken from a lousy print.......I have it and cannot recommend it............the USA is from a different print and is hugely superior..............also the USA release has ENGLISH sub-titles for those that need them.......the UK release had none..............
