Should I be concerned that my local calibrator says that he focuses on mits, but will gladly do my philips? Are HDTV's that similar where once you've done one brand, then you can do them all with equal results?

Design philosophy is similar. Like doing oil change on a ford or chevy.

You just need to confirm if the guy really knows what he is talking about.
