I plan on getting a new TV. Once I do I plan on getting it professionally calibrated as soon as possible. My question is should I still buy Avia or Video Essentials even after it has been calibrated? Will I need them?

I would buy one, if only you use it for doing the audio calibration. The ISF calibration will cover a lor more depth than the video adjustments on a calibration DVD would though.

I would buy it 1) for the audio, 2) to better understand what your ISF tech is doing, 3) to be able to tweak the set every few months, and 4) to be able to tweak the system as you change video input components (DVD players, etc.) as the ISF tech will calibrate using your current source.
