Has anyone had their HS20 ISF calibrated?
Is it worth the expense for an LCD projector?

Have you done basic calibration with Avia or DVE? I would usually recommend you start there first, this will probably make the biggest improvement, and is very cheap. Plus you can do it as many times as you want and not worry about having an ISF guy out every time. When you get really picky about PQ and have your system settled in, then you should consider a pro.

Yes, I have DVE. I am just curious if ISF calibration on this projector will give a considerable improvement in picture quality like it can with CRT projectors.

    Hi

i've done 5-6 of these units now. They are all very much red deficiant, and adding a red filter helps a lot while balancing the gray scale. The units are quite flexible and can have multiple gray scales set.

    Best wishes

Where can I purchase this red filter? Or is the filter part of ISF calibration?
