IMDB does not offer tech. specs on the theatrical release, but I find the DVD is 1.33:1. Is this another ridiculous example of MGM turning its nose up to a huge chunk of its potential market (us) by not even offering both OAR and P&S (as they once said they would do for "all future releases") or is this an open matte title? Note that the DVD opens with the disclaimer "...formatted to fit your screen." And the trailer is 1.85:1! This is not exactly a crappy little title that nobody cares about!

Oh...and Nicheflix offers a 1.85:1 edition.

Not sure what it implies, but the trailer is also 1.33:1 or open matte. Just viewed it at IMDB. I have this on order and am curious about the answer myself.

I just looked at my copy and it says:

STANDARD: Formatted to fit your screen

Which is a complete lie, since my screen is 16x9. :D
