Is "Watching Ellie" coming back? (1 Viewer)

I really liked this show, but I think I read somewhere that it wasn't coming back. However, I've searched the net and couldn't find anything about it being cancelled.

Does anyone know?

I seem to recall hearing that it was cancelled as well. I liked it too, although after a half a dozen episodes, the formula started to show through.

But, the characters were funny (Peter Stormare especially), and it was original. I think it came across as too "high concept" for audiences though.

According to Link Removed it will return as a midseason replacement next season, but without the real-time aspect.

Actually, it says in the article that the "time-clock aspect" will be gone. Since the real-time thing was a big part of what I enjoyed of the show, but I didn't like the clock, I hope that it just means that the clock is gone (like it was in the last episodes of it that they showed, where the show had also been slightly reworked as far as commercial breaks go).
