Is this normal on my yamaha rx681 (1 Viewer)

I have this strange click sound after i open the reciver it begin with the normal voice when i open it then a click happen after 3 seconds is this normal ?

Yes, it is normal. Basically it’s a relay to delay connection of the speakers. It prevents getting a “pop” sound in the speakers when the receiver is turned on.

Yes, it's normal as my Yamaha 3060 does the exact same thing for the reason Wayne stated.

Yes My Yamaha adventage 750 does the same thing
