I just picked up a Sony Wega 27" KV27FV300 tv from Circuit City.

    Talked them down to $579.97

I got the 3 year service plan for $84.99

    After taxes, total is $712.81

    Is that a good deal?

Last year I bought the base 27" WEGA (no PIP or enhanced sound) for $479 retail.

I went to SEARs because they would price match with internet vendors.

They also price matched BEST BUY for delivery, $25.

IMHO, 400-500 range is the most you should pay for a 27" TV.

In the 700-800 range, you should really be getting a 32" for your money.

    Best Wishes, Frank
