Just saw this preview clip of a film you all know I am hoping and hoping to come out on Blu finally - 1940's Northwest Passage. This preview clip looks to be from a different source then the Laserdisc print and also the print still shown on TCM recently. I think this preview has the print used on the MOD dvd? The print is light years ahead of the TCM print and looks quite good if not stunning in this clip even the main title shot is amazing - so is this blu ready, it has 106K views on YOUTUBE so I wonder if people would grab this if released? Saw a Robert Osborne intro yesterday to the film he knew the importance of the film as King Vidor's and Tracey's first color film - the location shoot in Idaho and British Columbia etc.

I can only hope this sees the blu ray light of day. Just watched this last week, for the 100th time via an itunes copy, and it's just such a good film. Well shot and excellent acting from all involved. I believe this is one of Tracy's most underrated performances.
