It's the Behringer PEQ2200. I can pick one up for almost nothing (about $70) and was wondering if it would be good for taming room peaks. I figured since it was a 5 band parametric it would work pretty well.

Anyone have one of these or used one before?

From what I can tell in the enlarged image, only one of the bands is useful in the subwoofer range, maybe two of them, the others are used for mids and highs.

Yup, the first band does 20-400 and the second does 50-1K... I guess two bands won't be enough, will it? [IMG] I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it.

It would certainly be better than nothing, and even just two such parametric bands can get rid of really major humps. Given that something like the FBD is only $129 or so, though, I'd pass on this one.
