One of the truly scarier films of the last decade, and the basis for many sequels, yet, as far as I can see, the original Japanese release is not available on Blu-ray, not even in Japan!

Can anyone here (please!) contradict me? Don't mention the Sarah Michelle Gellar remake. I want the original!

There's a box set of the three films available in Japan, but I believe the audio is only in Japanese, with no subtitles.

Is there anyone who can verify the subtitle situation? I can't read Japanese, and Amazon only translates the main information.

Thanks for the info, but it totally sucks. One the most popular Japanese horror films ever....no English subs? Hey, Japan, load up a .22, point it at your foot, and pull the trigger.
