Hello-

Does anybody know of a website that has the performance charts of various subwoofers? The best ones I have seen are on the SVS website for their subs, and the Secrets website for the 5 subs they reviewed at once. I am interested in a more comprehensive comparison.

What would really be nice is if there was a site similar to stock sites. Then you could enter in a few subs and get dynamic comparison charts. If SVS subs are that good, maybe having something like that would get more traffic to their website.

I have one more question. Who is this Tom guy (not TV) that does some of the magazine reviews. I have seen his name (Nousianne?) on other boards as a subwoofer guru, which is how I found this one.

Thanks,

War-

Sorry, this isn't the world's friendliest site, but it does give you specs on a lot of subs available. I shopped through the same info. looking at subs too. I live in the Chicago area, so the Bag End's look great, but then start checking out the prices. YOWZA! Regardless, this has some decent information if you have the time to kill. It's just not point and click, but hey, that's life. I also grabbed some links from the same page which may give you a better taste, but I can't attest to what's in there.
The one I checked out:

First off, the diyloudspeakers.org jumps you to a porn site (I know these links were listed on the original site). Maybe someone would edit that one out. I didn't check the others... my wife will probably ask me a few questions later on...

I am not interested in a diy sub right now, although I did build a pretty nice box for my old car about 13 years ago. That site has all of the stats for various woofers. I am more interested in the performance of the whole sub. graphs of the output at various frequencies would be nice.

Any other ideas?
