Is there a reason to replace my Pre-Amp?

    I have a Sony TA-E9000ES Pre Amp.
I hope to be purchasing a new FPTV & Progressive DVD player in the late winter/early spring.
If I'm going to be investing that kind of money, is it worth my time to consider a new Pre-Amp? Is the 6.1/7.1/DD EX/DTS ES/THX stuff worth it? I have a few DVDs that are DD EX/DTS ES I think....but is one more rear channel make that much difference?
Or would I be happier with a different amplifier than the TA-N9000ES? I have the Klipsch Reference speakers.
    Thanks
    Tom

Sounds to me like you are in pretty good shape on the audio end of your HT. I would take the money and get the best FPTV and DVD player you can.
