Is there a digital switch for TV's with only one component input (1 Viewer)

I have a 5 year old Sony 53HS10 HD Ready RPTv. It has 2 component inputs and 4 S-video, but only 1 Component input is for digital (480p or HD). Is there a switch so I could still get good progressive scan DVD and also get HD Tivo added with my DirecTV? It looks like I would have to either sacrifice the quality on my DVD movies to 480i to have HD TV. Am I right? Is there a switch or selector that both RGB could go into and the the one being viewed could be selected?

There is also a $40 "Mad Catz" HD Video selector that claims to be HD compatible, but I have not tested it yet.
