Is there a "cheap" Denon DVD player with Denon-Link in the works?

So I'm just wondering if they'll be supplying a more affordable DVD player (with DVD-A and SACD support, obviously) with Denon-Link, since a 3805 will have the ability to accept that connection?

I'm definitely picking up a 3805 as soon as it comes out, as I just got a job at the local hifi store, but I haven't heard much about Denon players...so if anybody has some information, it'd be much appreciated. [IMG]

I have read someplace that they are developing one and it will run about the same cost as the 3805($1,199). That still isn't "cheap" like say $500ish but it's a step in that direction.

Much like the 2200 is a smaller 2900(or I think so?), then I expect a slimmed down 5900.

    Does that make sense?

    Shane,

It definitely is logical, but whether that comes to pass or not is up in the air for the time being.

    Cheers,
