Didnt the current version of Blue Velvet just come out last year?

I think it was released in early 2000.

Stores already have the Special Edition up for pre-order. DVD Empire also reports a 6/4 release date.

Does that Blue Velvet cover ^up there^ appear to be a cardboard digipack or a keepcase.

I'm hoping for a nice cardboard cover! Does MGM do those? It appears it could be REALLY nice.

If you want to be a completeist, you may want to also get

the UK R2 DVD of Blue Velvet. Picture & sound are ok,

a nice extra of a 45 min. interview with Dennis Hopper.

Hopper covers many things, not just Blue Velvet.
