    Hello,
I have a 2109 and was wondering if anyone out there has had any luck playing CD-RWs in this machine. Yesterday I tried 2 different Memorex CD-RWs and both times the Tosh returned a "disc error" a few seconds after I loaded the disc.
Anyone have any luck? And if so:
    1. What brand CD-RW did you use?
    2. Did you purchase your machine in North America or overseas?
    3. If possible, please tell me what rom revision you have.
    Thanks,
    Sal

Nope. No luck here. I don't think it does.
    Doesn't do CD-R's either.

Mine doesn't either or play Vcd's which is a bummer since I have a few of those.
Also my 2109 won't play the latest Fleetwood Mac dvda disc as a Dolby Digital track either. It just says "loading" for awhile then rejects.
But I am about to try the Panasonic RP91 and that should take care of most of these problems I would guess! [IMG]

CD-RW no, but it will read CD-R's as long as you record a disk-at-once session. Even then it sometimes pauses for a couple of seconds between tracks, aparently searching for the beginning of the next track.
