I'm looking for a new DVD player to replace a Sony S360. I would like DVD-A capability as well. Is the RP82 the number one choice for under $300 CDN?

    John,

If you can get a RP82 for under $300CDN then pick it up. Best I've seen was when FS had it on sale for $349 around Boxing Day. Now its back to $399.

you know, everybody says it's hard to find, but at my local Fry's, I'm pretty sure they have it for $229.99... seen it a few times there.

    Anthony,

When you convert that over to much more aesthetically pleasing CA$, you cross the CA$300 barrier I'm sorry to report.

is there a non progressive equivalent to the rp82? or even a non progressive equivalent to the cp72? I was just wondering because it will be a while until i get anything that's digital... so just interlaced will do me good. any other suggestions?
