I've read conflicting posts on whether or not the Pioneer 563A a true DSD machine. Any confirmation?

when Sound & Vision magazine tested the DV-563a, their lab results indicated the crossover was 200Hz for DVD-Audio, and 120Hz for SACD.

I've read that Alex Paychev is reputable, and he modifies these players. Someone quoted him as saying the "563A is a true DSD machine in Stereo and if you use it in 5.1 mode without the bass management, which means your speaker setup should be "large" not "small".
