Is the Outlaw 950 going to be replaced?

    Or can we expect to see some more additions to the 950 such as DTS 96/24 or an RS232 port, etc?

    Nick, you might wanna ask your question on Outlaw's website.
    You might even get a response from Scott the admin. who is very cool.
    I know that the 950 is not upgradable. I also know that they mentioned, a long while back, a big brother to the 950. Double the cost, but with more features obviously and better this and that. I think Outlaw learned the hard way about posting info on up-coming products too soon, so I doubt if they'll let lose with anything 'til close to it's release.
    I do know they are supposed to have a stereo receiver coming out so maybe they have concentrated their efforts on that.
    Also the 1050 HT receiver was not scheduled to be replaced even though it lacks some current features. They continue to sell it. Which no wonder, as it is a "recommended component" by nearly every HT publication.
    I guess it indicates they leave "well enough" alone.
