I have heard some good things about the JVC SA600, but am really looking for a multidisk changer. It seems to me that the JVC FA90 is simply a 7 disc version of the SA600. Also, the prices seem to be about the same, so if they are very similar, why wouldn't you buy the mulitdisk?

Can anyone confirm this?? Or highlight the differences?

    Here is the SA600:

    Here is the FA90:

The '90 is the 2001 model (more comparable to the '60) - the '900 is the 2002 model, which is indeed a multi-disc version of the '600

The JVC website says the FA900BK is 17-11/16" deep, but most other player's actual dimensions are shorter than their published dimensions.

Does anybody know what the actual depth is from the front of the tray to the back of the box, not including the connectors? My cabinet has 16-3/8" to work with, allowing for the connectors to protrude out the back.

    Thanks,

    Tim
