www.etronic.com is already listing a h/k 7500 and h/k 8500 but not specs or prices are supplied, but I have never heard anything about an h/k 525

The AVR120 and 220 have been replaced by the AVR125 and 225. According to the story I got, they were unhappy with the production rate at the factory they were using, so they switched factories and took the opportunity to update the product a bit. The AVR320 and 520 should continue into the Fall.

Just a source that's well informed... wouldn't release the actual specifics cuz they ain't available. It's a well placed rumour from an in to h/k. On the rumour reliability scale, I give it a 7

KonradN, that URL you provided is for an electronic component distributor. They don't seem to sell stuff like A/V Receivers at all. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the AVR7500 is simply a European AVR520.

AVR125: Power bumped to 45Wx5; adds 6ch discrete input

AVR225: Power bumped to 55Wx5

Aside from adding the 'L7' Logic7 logo to the front panel, that's about it for the changes.

Sorry folks...missed a couple other changes to the AVR125 and 225:

* ADCs so you can now apply bass management to analog sources (2 modes - one is direct, the other through the ADCs)

* MP3 decoding is gone

Suggestions are the 525 is in testing...

...I wish I asked the questions, cuz there's other info I would like to know, but the one item is potentially THX certification. No word on other goodies, like digital Logic 7, ES, Firewire, different remote, face settings, etc.

AFAIK, there will be no replacements for the 320 or 520 until the Fall (Sept/Oct). I wouldn't surprised to see all the models revised to x30's at that time.
