One of my favorite concert/documentary movies. Really captured an artist in transition. Great playing by Omar Hakim, Kenny Kirkland and Branford Marsalis.
Noticed that the VHS copy is available on ebay for $26.00.
Anybody know of the DVD being available soon?

I wish it were, but it probably isn't. According to the Internet Movie DataBase (IMDB.COM or http://us.imdb.com/Companies?0088855 ... where did the link feature go???), Samuel Goldwyn Co. has US distribution rights.
It was a very good film, and maybe you could post a request in the Studio Feedback section. I'd second it.

I would definitely like to see this on DVD. I wasn't a Sting fan when I went to see this movie, but I was when I walked out of the theater. Very well-made documentary of the creation of a band and an album.

Thanks for the replies. If it does come out maybe there will be outakes and additional concert footage.

This one snuck in under my radar - just realized it was released today. Curious of the audiovisual quality...
