Is ST:TNG on TNN this fall going to affect TNG on DVD?? (1 Viewer)

For the longest time we have been hearing of TNG coming to DVD to followup on TOS. We have had confirmation of it being worked on and the inserts in the TOS Disc's show it as well. Other than that I have heard nothing. No disc specifics as to how many episodes they will place per disc. No speculated release dates anymore ect.
Is TNG coming on TNN this fall affecting this in any way?
I absolutely refuse to watch TNN as I can't stand their title bar of the current program with their logo attached to the right. All of it covering up the picture in some way or another. I even skipped TMP as I have never seen this movie in full and would rather see it in WS with DD5.1 rather than butchered up by that station with their program ID, P&S, commerials and stero at best.
Anyone have some good info to share

Now, this is all from what Martin Blythe said here...
TNG has moved to the forefront for DVD...again.
No one knows what's going to be on discs or how they're going to be released...just no 2-pers.
Estimated release date is sometime in early 2002...
We should expect the official TMP announcement in 7-10 days, after which Mr. Blythe said he would start looking at TNG...
All good things come to those who wait.
