Is Sony 57XBR10W a good deal at $3099?

    A store near me is selling it at the above price. Seems like a good deal, but I know some folks have problems with this model. Would appreciate any opinions pro or con.

    I think that the MSRP for that TV is $3999 so it looks like a good price. However, I just finished shopping for a widescreen RPTV and I was very disappointed in the picture on the Sony XBR. My previous RPTV was a Sony and I've been 100% happy with it so I was initially thinking about buying the 65XBR10W. I looked at the Sony at a couple of different stores but the picture just wasn't as good as the Mitsubishi, Toshiba or Pioneer sets that I was comparing it to. YMMV, but I'd definitely recommend looking at some other sets first.
