Sounds good. I will be the first in line to see a new Rambo movie. No doubt some losers are going to be against it if the story is about the taliban and such. If you don't want to see it don't, simple as that. No reason to ruin it for us that do.

i'm really sorry if i offend anyone by saying this, but i think that is one of the funniest things i've ever heard. i mean, just imagine how cheesy that would be! did anyone catch the new mc hammer video they showed on the daily show? i couldn't stop laughing.

Sam-
That video was hilarious!!!
I think that if they are making the movie, they shouldn't make it in response to the 9/11 thing, but rather just make it because they want to make it.

This is not half a hilarious as Jason X, which I was jumped all over for saying was one of the most ridiculous things Hollwood has pumped out.
Here's the problem though. Stallone is a pretty decent actor. But he keeps choosing the same roles over and over. He either can't get any decent roles or is just happy choosing bad action roles. His performance in Cop Land was very good. He needs more roles like that, instead of the constant action roles which are basically the same thing over and over.

I like the Rambo movies, and I'll see "Rambo 4". There was talk about Rambo 4 being about terrorists long before Sept 11th.

Yep! That was the one. I enjoyed the first two. But didn't care for number three. Not sure how I'll feel about number four. Probably skip it.

You know what, all this talk of bad decisions on Sly's part, and whether or not it's a good idea to make this film, it'll be stupid, it'll be lame yada yada yada, is COMPLETELY irrealivent to me.
The way this country is feeling right now, EVERYONE, myself included is going to line up for miles to see Sly kick the living shit out of Osama bin Laden!!
It will be the feel good film of the year!

I'd much rather see the U.S. military do it for real than to watch Sly do it in an imaginary sense.

I can appreciate a silly action flick as much as the next guy, my only hesitation is that it will become dated before it comes out!

If you wanna see Bin Laden get his ass kicked, you should have watched last week's episode of South Park. Cartman and Bin Laden did a Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd routine that was hilarious! The whole episode made fun of the terrorists and anti-US people in Afghanistan.

Morgan, the South Park ep made even more fun of Americans.
Rambo IV is three Rambos too many. Yech.
I wish I'd seen the MC Hammer video. What was in it?

I love the Rambo movies and have wanted a new one for years.
I hope they keep:
-Jerry Goldsmith's theme
-Trautman in it
-Rambo's long hair
-80s sytle of all out action
-one man army
In my opinion, all three Rambo movies are classics, as are Rocky 1-4.

Well bin Laden is still free, but the Taliban is sure getting its ass kicked right now. The Northen Alliance have driven them to the southern part of Afghanistan.

HAHAHAHA..Oh my gosh...I read this so fast that I thought it said there would be a ROCKY IV. My brain wasn't, and still isn't, working properly so I sound really dumb.
But I was just trying to picture Rocky boxing some of the Taliban members. Hahaha...Rocky vs. Osama
Now that would make a funny movie!!! :) :)
