The Toshiba 50HDX is on sale at Futureshop for $2999 right now. I've been watching this tv, and it was on sale for about $4200 before Christmas. (Canadian prices of course).

Is now the time to buy a new projo or will they keep coming down in price? I'm guessing they are trying to make them look more attractive than the Plasmas, etc.

Should I pull the trigger on this?

Your call, Paul. But prices for all HD-capable displays are coming down. When model-closeout time comes (in order to make room for the new season's models), bargains abound. If it feels right, go for it.
