is it possible for speakers to be too small? i mean could speakers be too weak to handle an a/v receiver? i posted about my speakers sounding like they are trying to blow up... but if they were too "small", wouldn't turning down the volume fix the distortion issue? because it doesn't. so i'm confused... i hear from one side that it doesn't matter what speakers you're using they should be able to handle the receiver at a normal output lvl. where as in my last post some one said they might be too small... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Matt, what speakers are you driving? What receiver do you own? What are the dimensions of your room?
