Is "HDTV Ready" and "HDTV Compatible" the same? (1 Viewer)

I just changed my order from a 40H80 to a 50H81. The 40" would be too small.
Anyway the add for the 40" says "HDTV ready", and the add for the 50 says "HDTV compatible", are they the same?
On the 40" they also specify 1280 lines of resolution, and no mention of lines on the 50"
Am I making a mistake?

Same thing, you need a HD set box to receive HD...
