I mean come one. They are throwing it up against Friends and Survivor! Why can't they give it a good time slot like on Sundays? Last season, they matched it up against The West Wing and Drew Carey. I will be pissed if this show gets cancelled. Stewie clearly trumps Bender. =)

My big problem is that the old timeslot had a good parter in Titus. It was a rookie one/two punch team.
I don't know how the hell they expect it to go up againse Friends and Survivor, and even worse, they have the Tick riding it's back. It's not that the Tick might not be funny, but I betcha less than more people will tune into watch the Tick.
I have emailed Fox many times stating the the popularity of Family Guy. I have given them many timeslot suggestion, and I'll tell you this much , Thursday night wasn't one of them.

    Oops, I dropped my eardrums.
Could you pick them up for me?

I think Fox is looking for a "cult" audience to cultivate opposite the powerhouses on CBS and NBC. They must have some faith in Family Guy, since they've brought it back at least two times after hovering close to death. I think they know the fans will seek it out, and that there's a college-age audience out there that LOVES the show. Hopefully their gamble will pay off, and they will attract the audience they want for The Tick as well as keeping Family Guy alive.

Brett, agree completely, my wife told me to shut up I was laughing so hard. Stewie cracks me up.
Best cartoon on TV right now, IMHO.

The Family Guy was GREAT last night.
Stewie: Let us meet so that we may trade mono-syllabic arrogant grunts in person.....
The door bell with the woman's face was priceless.
This show kills me. My stomach hurt after watching this show. I was laughing too hard.

Hardly. If I were Fox I would have dropped this the first time it teetered on extinction. Kudos to Fox for keeping such a great show alive.

I loved the opening Sunny Delight joke. Stewie cracks me up every time. Hopefully Fox will keep the show around for at least another couple years, and start releasing some Family Guy Season DVD box sets.

Christian: The only thing I'm wondering about is how much the BBFC will censor it... That's the reason I won't buy alot of UK releases.

Adam: You know, considering it's Family Guy, you raise a very good point.
