Clearly, everyone has forgotten (or probably blocked out in order to prevent further emotional scarring) the cheesiest song of the 80's:

"We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" by Jermaine Stewart.

We don't have to take our clothes off,
To have a good time, oh no,
We can dance and party all night,
And drink some cherry wine, uh-huh...

WTF?!!

Another strong contender, which I love BTW, would have to be "I Wanna Be a Cowboy" by Boys Don't Cry.

Sunglasses at Night is an awesome song. I cant believe that you put that in the list. There are some great lyrics in that tune. I suggest everybody go "purchase" it right now.
To each his own. To me, it was one of the epitome of everything that was wrong with '80's music.

Don't forget "Oh Sheila" by Ready For The World.

Or "Sugar Walls" by Sheena Easton.

Or the entire David Lee Roth solo catalog.

(In my best Homer Simpson-type voice) ..."Mmmmmmm.... Sheena Eastons' Sugar Walls.....slobber, slobber... drool, drool"

Heh heh. I went to my friend's kid's dance recital a couple years back, and one of the numbers they had the little six-year-old girls jump around to was "She Bop."
I guess no one clued them in that the song was about masturbation.
I wasn't sure if I should be amused or appalled. I went with amused. :)

Hey, given that a song about anonymous gay sex became family fun years ago, "She Bop" shouldn't raise any eyebrows!:)

When I hear it at the ballpark I have similar concerns as Ryan when I see unaware heterosexuals, parents, and children sing along and do the cheerleader spelling thing with their arms. I don't do that. I'm heterosexual and if that isn't a good enough reason, I don't want to spill my beer.

or at a wedding...
Some of these songs have some cool remixes, that focus more on the beat than on the silly lyrics. Obsession and You Spin Me Round come to mind. Go to the net and steal...er, I mean download them.
How has nobody mentioned Whip It by Devo yet?

My vote is for Rupaul's SEX FREAK. The cover of the record is hilarious too. It has mail order offers for his beauty secrets.
