Is DVD ETC. actually the best HT magazine? (1 Viewer)

I took a look at it in the store, it looked pretty good, but I also saw "Sound & Vision" and "Home Theater". I couldn't really tell which one is better, but here I see a DVD ETC. board.

BTW the subscription for DVD ETC. is pretty expensive.

I think they each have their strongpoints.
Widescreen Review is another good one. I think it's the best when reviewing HT SW.
Lately they have been beating the HD Videotape drum, which I could care less about....but their reviews are very detailed and good. Strongest in truly technical and advanced issues, I like it best because it doesnt try 'talking down' to the reader

Home Theater is the best for a novice and has plenty of glossy photos.
Sound and Vision and DVD ETC are both good resources.
S&V deals with music which DVD ETC ignores excrpt when it comes to DVDs.
I would say buy a few issues before you subscribe
