Does the dvd version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (1965 version) contain the bit of dialogue where Cinderella explains to the Prince that she is called Cinderella because she sleeps among the cinders, and that her father sleeps in heaven? According to the IMDB, the one minute of footage is cut from the vhs version. I was just wondering, because if the dvd is complete, I am going to purchase the two pack of this film and Alice in Wonderland (1985-my all-time favorite version.)

Yes, that scene and all that dialog is in the DVD, at about the 8:30 mark, the first time the Prince and Cinderella meet. Hope that helps - enjoy the dvd when you get it.

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks, guys! I knew I was picking up Alice, but if the two are being sold together I would love to have both of them!
