I just found this in the $5.50 bin at my local Wal-Mart the other day and was wondering if this is the best representation of this film currently available.

With all the work done on the recent Wayne & Ford sets, is this a title whose rights are not owned by Warners?

I was thrilled to find it (especially at that price). Can anyone give me a thumbs up or down on quality before I open it, in case I should return it unopened?

I have the Artisan SE of Rio Grande, though it is packaged differently than yours, and I did not get it so cheaply. My version (which yours almost certainly is also) is a great B&W print, well mastered with some decent supplemental material. At $5.50 that is a total steal.

The Artisan Rio Grande bears no resemblance to their atrocious version of The Quiet Man.
