I know the Sony Sub is good for HT and that it needs to be poly filled (how much by the way?), but will that modification make it good for music? The reviews say it's not the best for music as is.

Filling it with polyfill will tighten up the sound for both HT and Music. There are certainly better music subs out there but I find my Sony sounds pretty darn good for a $130 investment. It is still a little "boomy" but much better than new with the mods.

Thanks, Justin. I'm looking into three subs: the Sony, a 10" sub at parts express, and a 10" AudioSource. Know anything about these other subs?
Do you think the Sony can be placed under a table to the far right of the listener?
