For me I simply can't pass up locked threads. Even though some of them are obviously duplicate topic locks, I am drawn to open them, I simply can't resist [IMG] That and anything to do with hearing differences between cables.

I have to admit, I'm the same. Even if the topic doesn't interest me, I'll usually read a locked thread. I also can't pass up a Coen thread, or anything started by, or a reply by Mr. Steve Christou. That guy is damn funny. Also anything with any of the following words in the thread title:
    Nude
    Nudity
    Hookers
    Hottest
    Helen Hunt
    Porn, Porno, or Pornography
    Babes

Sorry guys this thread is now closed. Please refer to the HTF Rules before posting this nonsense.

Oh, that's right, I'm not a moderator. Sorry!

Brian, Jeff, thanks guys! [IMG] I'm chuffed (whatever that means), but you know there's method in my madness, when I find out what it is I'll let you know.[IMG]
The down side is I tried posting some good advice on Matt Chmiels thread over in After Hours and no one took me seriously, I give up![IMG]
Irresistible threads to me would be humorous topics (ofcourse), movie quote threads (I love quotes), sexy babe threads (mmmmm), the LOTR thread in Movies is one I always check out, also the Box Office thread is hysterical, members there have charted FOTR grosses on a daily basis, where else can you find out how the movie is doing in Russia? Great stuff![IMG]
Also threads with spoilers in them, can anyone resist looking under the spoilers?
    I can't.
Threads where I can have a go at members I like, postcount celebration threads for instance, I can poke fun at my forum buddies and get away with it, heh heh nice!
Locked threads are fascinating, but its usually the same old thing, members just can't help talking about taboo topics, and the mods quickly close the threads just when it's getting interesting, but these are the rules.[IMG]
    Ok I've waffled enough.

I love any thread in which my opinions, writing skills or DVD collection are shamelessly abused.
Which is why I spend so much time here, I guess. [IMG]

Stuff like "Snow white is pan & scan"

I try to reply to any threads with incorrect information...like the urban legend that 1.85:1 films are cropped when put on DVD at 1.78:1.

    Dear pal Scott Weinberg:
It's good to know all that time I spent abusing your opinions, writing skills, and DVD collection wasn't wasted.[IMG]
Actually, our tastes run very similar. [IMG]
Not sure if that makes me look better, or you worse.[IMG] [IMG]
