Getting right to the point, where the hell is the DVD?
This was on Bravo the other day, I hadn't seen it since it was released 19 years ago.
Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep, Tom Waits.
Those great grim locations in Upstate New York.

    Meryl's character, Helen, near death...

"What if I did drink too much wine? Whose business is that anyway?
Who knows how much I didn't drink, huh?
    "

Never got around to seeing it. But the production redid the whole side of a house down the street from me. The current owners kept it like that, only with a new paint job.

Excellent and terribly grim film. It really should be on DVD. I wonder who has the rights.

This was the last of the three films that Taft Broadcasting produced, along with THE MONSTER SQUAD and THE RUNNING MAN. So it's tied up in the Republic quagmire until 2005, when Paramount takes over. I think Lions Gate has their hands full right now just sifting through the Artisan assets without trying to handle films they have less than a year to profit from.

If those have an English audio track I'd like to try ordering one.
