If, like me, you bought a 3GS on release day you can spend $18 and reset 2 year commitment to get a new iPhone tomorrow....

Another thing. So does this also mean our contract can be ended and we can close it out and go to android or another phone?

No, it's just a loyalty reward, like Verizon's New Every 2.

So far I don't think I will upgrade and commit to another two years, but we will see if I feel the same way tomorrow.

So that lets you buy a new phone at the 2-yr contract price?

What's the best site(s) to get info on the Keynote tomorrow? I'm at a business / professional conference this week and may have to check in afterwards to get a good summary of what's announced.

I have the same question. What sites are carrying today's conference

live and what time does it begin?

I'll start a separate thread once the event starts.

Just checked my iPhone upgrade status. I am not eligible for an

upgrade until February 2011 so I will be paying full price for whatever

Apple announces today.

In roughly descending order, the sites you want to constantly refresh (or let automatically refresh if available):

http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/07/steve-jobs-live-from-wwdc-2010/

http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2010/06/wwdc-keynote-steve-jobs-liveblog.ars

http://ihnatko.com/2010/06/07/apple-wwdc-2010-keynote-liveblog/

http://www.mobilecrunch.com/2010/06/07/live-blog-apple-wwdc-2010-keynote-iphone/

http://live.gdgt.com/2010/06/07/live-wwdc-2010-keynote-coverage/

The one site you can safely skip today:

http://gizmodo.com/

But if you insist:

http://live.gizmodo.com/

No sites will carry the official live video, tho in the past a few folks have snuck out justin.tv and ustream streams. Apple will post the official stream tonight and the downloadable version tomorrow if they follow recent history. Your best best is the live blogs listed above.

Should start at 10:00am Pacific time. The local news here showed lines around the block for the attendees to get into the Conference. Some getting in line overnight of course.

Pictures from the line are now filtering in. Mobile crunch says only 50ish journalists but the attendees are now lined up around 3 walls outside of Moscone, with the earliest having braved the cold of SF since midnight. Apparently its unusually cool out there at this time.

I've update the list of liveblogs that I've found throughout the morning but I'll be heading over to Panera soon to pay attention to all the news as it filters in. Hopefully Ron will start his new thread soon, I didn't want to step on his toes by doing so.

It's usually cold in San Francisco! Mark Twain's quote is true: "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

Though we've had some muggy, very warm weather in Silicon Valley the past few days. Last night the cooler air came back to bring the temps down.

Sam, I was at first unclear why you said to skip gizmodo and then I saw that they weren't invited and I realized, of course they would not be invited!
