Shutdown clears out memory.

Sounds like tech cargo-cult behavior.

But I’ve got my own cargo-cult rituals, so whatever makes you feel like you’re effecting change to your gadgets. :)

Pick out the 5G Speedtest from my results. This is with just an iPhone 12, no pro or max.

I'm just happy getting another speed bump at home for my Spectrum cable service at the basic level price (going from ~230/11 to ~480/23)... :P

I have no real use for 5G speeds outside, especially since I don't have unlimited data w/ Verizon -- don't really need unlimited anyway since there's secured (enough) wifi in most places I spend significant time...

This phone takes amazing low light photos.
Maybe better then with the flash.

So back to my speed talk from a little while ago.

My 5G and lte speeds have been showing normal speeds but Holy Moley.
I went back to Philly for a visit and saw that Verizon has 5G ultra wide band there. These speeds are crazy.

The lowest was just outside Philly
The middle one somewhere in Philly.
The fastest was from inside the Wells Fargo center where the Flyers and Sixers play.

I never imagined data phone speeds being that fast. Those upload speeds are something too.
2245 is nuts.

I hope you have a good unlimited data plan... because looks like those 3 tests combined probably ate up around 6GB of data, LOL.

The first two do seem to have the wifi icon active on the top right, so only the last one was using cellular...

Those tests were likely run some time earlier (presumably when @TonyD was using cellular data as he seemed to indicate) -- their results have different timestamps than what you see for when the screenshots were made (and the signal indicator visible).
